The Tradition
Course Overview
In 1997, as golfer’s continued to flood the 45th Parallel in the summer, Rick Smith strayed from the northern Michigan norm and built a classic parkland style golf course complete with pennant flags, rocks for tee markers and wooden flagsticks and tee signs much like you’ll find at many of the world’s oldest golf courses. The result was the perfect complement to an already impressive stable of courses and a layout conducive to growing the game with families and juniors. Today, the Tradition can be walked and/or traversed with a golf cart. Just like most other things at Treetops, we leave that up to you!
