Facilities at A-Ga-Ming have steadily grown since its inception as a nine-hole course in the early 1970s. In 1986, former owner Bill Siebenthaller and his close friend (1954 PGA Champion) Chick Harbert pooled their talents to take the course to the next level by re-routing the original nine-hole layout and adding nine more. The Torch Course, as it’s known today, offers challenging golf and boasts the most spectacular views in northern Michigan.
Under the careful stewardship of current owners Larry Lavely and Mike Brown, A-Ga-Ming has realized tremendous growth. By prioritizing golf course improvements, guest lodging, real estate developments and adding a second 18-hole course (the Sundance Course) in 2005, the resort has been elevated from a 2½ star to a 4 star status by Golf Digest.
A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort offers three exceptional on-site accommodation options: Maple Ridge Condominiums, Cedar Hollow Townhomes and Vista Townhomes. Our one, two, three and four-bedroom accommodations were designed for entertaining, featuring open living spaces. Whichever ambiance suits your mood, we have the ideal lodging to complement to your golf vacation, social event, wedding celebration or weekend get-away!
Duffers Bar and Grill
Whether you’re fueling your day before your round with a breakfast burrito or grabbing a burger with the family, Duffers Bar and Grill has you covered. Conveniently located within walking distance from all lodging at A-Ga-Ming, Duffers offers fabulous views of Torch Lake and burgers that keep you coming back for more!
Sundance Brick Oven
